What are you willing to do?

Do you ever kind of wish things were different in your life, like, you wish you could wave a magic wand and something would be improved? For me, it came up a few years ago around my kids’ nighttime routine. I said to myself, ”It would be great if they could be in bed by 9.”

Here’s the trick. The next question has got to be:

“What are you willing to do to make it happen?”

This question changes the conversation from wishful thinking into an action plan or a decision.

For me, I stopped wishing for something that I wasn’t personally willing to change… and decided 9:30 was just fine for bedtime.

What do you want to have happen? Want to lose weight? Have a better relationship with your managers? Write the great American novel?

What are you WILLING TO DO to make it happen?

Keep showing up!
